Hongda Large-scale Fingerprint Matching System
Overview
Hongda matching system is designed for large-scale AFIS and multiple application systems based on biometric identification technologies. Cogent PMA together with Hongda fingerprint products is the best solution for large-scale database with high reliability and speed, which will further improve system processing capacity and accuracy by using combined algorithm of fingerprint identification and face identification. In addition, this system has highly false accepted ability, can provide parallel processing capacity. It can be used for both public AFIS and other AFIS in specific fields. This system contains fingerprint algorithm and API used for editing the remaining fingerprint. Meanwhile, it can also process various fingerprint templates collected in the format of flat and rolled. Operating system supported Linux or Microsoft Windows is required.
Structure for Fingerprint Matching System
In view of ensuring security and confidentiality of data, and other related applications in the future, system will take the format of centralized data storage.
In order to improve fingerprint matching speed, fingerprint matching server employs the matching method of multithreading matching mode. At the same time, multi-matching servers can also be created to lower the request pressure generated by distributed Clients. .
All Client data will exchanged with Web server in the BS mode. The matching result of fingerprint data will be released through the Internet. The Client at all levels can make an operation in accordance to its authorization.
System Business Management Architecture consists of three level functional nodes:

Data receipt server and fingerprint matching server play the leading role in the four mentioned above nodes, which function to store, match, analyze data and release the status of data matching. Executing results of fingerprint matching application will be monitored and processed at each terminal.

Overview of HD AFIS applied at Bureau of Public Security, Weihai City, Weihai City.
HD AFIS uses WEB SERVICE-based three-layer structure, which includes fingerprint collection system, fingerprint processing system, matching server and Oracle database. The details are as follows.
一、Fingerserver Project
Fingerserver accesses business object at Middle Tier: business object is XML Web services, Client can use standard Internet protocol to communicate with business object from any platform. It functions on Web server, and provides performance and scalability required by distributed application
Five components include: database connected with Oraconn, ten-finger image data adapters ( orada_szinfo,orada_szimg,orada_dzinfo,orada_dzimg).

二、Fingeredit_web project

四、matchdll_win32 auxiliary project :Invoke function as export function at DLL through remote matching server, so that it can be used in C#.
五、Exwdll.dsp project:Realize the compress and uncompress of fingerprint image

This system will identify every policeman’s fingerprint to know if she or he is on duty. An attendance report will be generated as well. Policemen at communities can also receive the command from high ranking level and submit the feedback to top management through the Internet.
